Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Hetuvo collects, why we collect it, and how to request deletion.
Who We Are
Hetuvo is a performance marketing workflow product operated from India for customers globally. You can contact us at support@hetuvo.com.
Information We Collect
- Account information, such as your email address and name.
- Brief-request information, including email address, country, store URL, optional spend range and the problem you ask us to review.
- Workspace settings, connection status, and product preferences.
- Meta Ads connection data, such as ad account IDs, ad account names, campaign, ad set, ad, creative, and reporting metrics you authorize Hetuvo to access.
- Shopify store data you authorize, limited to store identity, products, inventory quantities, and recent order totals and line-item quantities. Hetuvo does not request customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, billing addresses, or shipping addresses.
- Encrypted connection credentials needed to connect supported services.
- Reports, recommendations, and operational notes generated from the data you connect.
- Basic technical data such as logs, device/browser information, IP address, and security events.
- Acquisition context such as landing page, referral page, campaign tags and advertising click identifiers. We use a first-party random session identifier to join your own request steps. It becomes persistent only when you allow analytics.
How We Use Information
- To connect your authorized marketing accounts.
- To generate reporting, recommendations, and weekly action lists.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and debug issues.
- To communicate with you about your account and support requests.
- To deliver a brief you request and follow up about that request.
- To send marketing email only after a separate, optional confirmation.
- To comply with legal, tax, security, and platform requirements.
Meta Platform Data
Hetuvo only accesses Meta data after you authorize the connection. The current product is designed for analysis and reporting. If Hetuvo adds campaign-management features in the future, those features will require clear user authorization before making changes.
Shopify Data
Hetuvo uses read-only Shopify access to calculate aggregate store revenue, orders, refunds, units sold, and inventory context for performance analysis. Raw Shopify orders are processed transiently to create these aggregates and are not stored in Hetuvo's database or sent to the analysis model. Encrypted rotating authorization credentials are stored only while the connection is active.
Email Choice and Consent
Requesting a brief does not subscribe you to marketing. The marketing checkbox is optional and starts a separate email-confirmation step. We record the request, confirmation, withdrawal, and suppression events so we can honour your choice. Every marketing email includes a preference and unsubscribe route. Unsubscribing does not stop necessary service, security, or account email.
Analytics and Measurement
Hetuvo uses a small first-party event log for product and funnel analytics, plus Google Analytics when you allow analytics in the banner. The choice is stored locally in your browser and is separate from email marketing consent. When analytics are off, we keep the default Google storage denied and still only record the minimum product signals needed to operate the site. These event properties do not include your email address or store URL.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information or customer marketing data. We may share limited data with service providers that help us operate Hetuvo, such as hosting, database, authentication, email, analytics, and payment providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, security needs, or platform policy.
Retention
We keep account and connected marketing data while your account or workspace is active, unless a shorter period is required by law, platform policy, security needs, or your deletion request. Some limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or legal purposes.
When you unsubscribe, we retain the minimum suppression and consent record needed to avoid adding that address back without a new request.
Your Choices
- You can disconnect Meta Ads from inside Hetuvo where available.
- You can disconnect Shopify from Hetuvo or uninstall Hetuvo in Shopify.
- You can remove Hetuvo from your Meta account through Meta settings.
- You can request deletion using the data deletion instructions.
- You can change marketing frequency or unsubscribe from the link in any marketing email.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate for a small SaaS product, including encrypted credential storage and restricted access. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
